We dedicate both our time and our resources to the Shade Tree Shelter in Las Vegas and to Operation Smile on a global level. Shade Tree Shelter provides shelter, clothing, and support for battered and abused women and children in the Vegas Valley, and Operation Smile helps children born with cleft lips and cleft palates in third-world countries.
Caitlin grew up in Colorado where she learned to love the outdoors at a very young age. Her natural athletic ability allowed her to pursue a collegiate volleyball career. Being a college athlete taught her to have a competitive work ethic while supporting and encouraging others to perform at their highest level. After studying Political Science and Marketing at the Metropolitan College of Denver, Caitlin followed her passion for travel and volunteering. She explored Europe, India, South East Asia, and Central America where she volunteered as an Education Coordinator for sustainable living programs in Santiago Atitlan, Guatemala.
After returning to the United States, she participated in the growth of a start up company in Boulder, Colorado. Caitlin decided to gain more business experience and started as an account executive in Portland, Oregon. She soon discovered that it was possible to be successful in business while fulfilling her passion of helping others. Early in her career she was invited to help pilot a new marketing campaign in Las Vegas, Nevada. There she quickly excelled in the management training program and earned her promotion into Assistant Management in November of 2012 and management in March 2013.
Her goal has always been to help others to recognize their natural strengths and create a business organization that is recognized for having high standards as well as high performance. Caitlin believes holding people accountable for their goals creates a culture of support and development where an individuals success is measured in the success of those around them. She fosters an environment where relationships are professional as well as personal.
Eliot McBride was born and raised in the Vegas Valley. He attended the University of Redlands in Southern California where he was able to design his own education and major. “I didn’t really know what I wanted to study, so I jumped around between majors until I found the Johnston program, which let me tailor my studies to my interests. The classes I liked the most, and did the best in, were Literature and Economics courses. The common thread I found between the two was that they both studied people’s interactions, one in a personal field and the other in and financial realm.” Eliot graduated with a degree entitled “The Story of Wealth: Meditations on Motivation.” In addition, Eliot minored in Mandarin Chinese, and after graduation traveled through China for three months.
Upon returning to the States, Eliot came back to his hometown and started in the ‘real’ world. After working a couple of odd jobs, Eliot started as an account executive in Las Vegas. “After studying economics, I was looking for a company that recognized that we live in a different world now, and that our concepts of business have to evolve. I found that here.” Being part of an organization that develops people both personally and professionally enabled Eliot to transition into the Human Resources side of the company.
His goal has always been to help develop others into the best possible versions of themselves and to create a company that fosters the environment where he can do so. “I am very excited to be part of a growing business, and one whose values are in line with my own.”
